Bringing a Little Halloween to the Front Porch

Do you remember my fall gate front porch project from earlier in the season?
(If not, you can see that post here.)

Well, I had mentioned how I wanted to change out this little treasure with different seasons and holidays. And of course we know Halloween is super close so my wheels started spinning. (That can sometimes be scary.)

I spotted the large broom at a Good Will store a while back for $1 so I decided I would find a good use for it. I then saw the other smaller ones at the $1 spot of Target. (Do you get the feeling I'm there a lot?) That's when the idea hit me!

I had pinned (and downloaded) this printable on Pinterest a while back.

I simply printed it out and cut it to fit inside a frame I already had.

Hmmm....what am I thinking here?

The brooms came with a twine loops around the tops. Perfect for hanging. Actually I just used the same nails I had used for my "FALL" letters.

See where I'm going with this??

Then I just tied the frame around the broom and gate really well. And Wa-la!

One hour broom parking--right on the front porch! (Sorry for the glare.)

Unfortunately after looking back at the printable above that I pinned, I realized it is no longer available. (Or at least I couldn't find it.) :(

So, although the original idea belonged to http://www.creatingreallyawesomefreethings.com, I decided to make my own similar sign (with my own little spin) for all of you. :)

Feel free to download this version here.

    1. Thanks Mary. I know how that feels. I must have a hundred pins of things for "one day". :) Hope things are going well.
