Advent Calendar and Elf on the Shelf

It's that time of year again.

Over the weekend our silly elf, Jingle came and hung a bag for every day until Christmas on our stairs.

Guess where we found him?

In bag number 1 of course!

So each day, we'll find him in a new place and he puts something for us to do in the next bag. This is our version of an advent calendar.

Here is the list of Christmas fun (in no particular order):

Write a letter/list for Santa.
Go sledding.
Watch Christmas movies with popcorn/hot chocolate.
Make Christmas Cookies.
Listen to Santa Video. (You can make your own at Portable North Pole.
A friend introduced me to this. So cool!)
Make a Christmas craft.
Rock out Listen to Christmas Music.
Build a Gingerbread House.
Look at Christmas Lights.
Make Reindeer Food.
Get pictures taken with Santa.
Deliver gifts to teachers.
Help wrap gifts.
Read Christmas books in front of the Christmas tree.
Donate toys.
Build a snowman.
School Christmas party
A surprise (Princesses on Ice)
Christmas Placemats
Make ornaments.
Tree Skirt Handprints
Celebrate Teah's birthday.

Open 1 gift.

***If you want to see what else our sill elf is up to each day, tune into our family blog (on the sidebar). Totally Tessa and Teah.

  2. Thanks! Sure why not? Come on over! :) Wasn't it such fun to be a kid? I think that is part of the reason we have kids. So we can re-live it again. :)
