Christmas Tradition: Tree Skirt

So we started a new tradition last year. And seeing that the season is already in full swing, we thought we'd go ahead and get 'er done.

I don't really think I need to explain, as the pictures pretty much do it for me.

I plan to keep this going each year as long as the kids are living at home.

After all, Christmas is all about memories and what says memories better than handprints.

Just makes me smile.

  1. What a BEAUTIFUL idea Susan! I love sentimental things like that where you can visibly see how your kids have grown each year and I'm sappy at Christmas so this is perfect.

What kind of paint did you use and does it flake off at all? Is that a felt skirt? Thanks!

    1. Thanks Hilda! It is a felt skirt but I'm sure others would work too. I just used an acrylic white paint and so far so good!

    1. Thanks Laura. Who doesn't like to document their kids' growth, right? :)
