"Princess and the Pea" Bedroom Reveal

I spent all last week sharing projects from my littlest one's bedroom makeover. And I'm happy to say it is finished (for now anyway :).

I'm pretty happy with how it turned out and I know my daughter is.
So I'd call it a success.

Here you can see a picture of the rug (Target) and the lamp that I added some fun to (see how here).
(The light in here is pretty bright during the day
and it keeps me from getting a good picture of the window.)

Here is one from the other day when the light wasn't quite so bright.
(If you'd care to see how we brightened up our sun-stained blinds, check it out here.)

You can also see the window/gutter bookshelf we put up the other day. (To see more of that go here.)

We made the headboard last week as well as the floor puzzle turned art (see them here and here).  But the last time I showed you I didn't have all the bedding yet.

I went back to PB kids and got a sham and a pillow case to go with the quilt.

And I managed to find this little round, green, shaggy pillow at none other than Walmart. I think it makes the perfect "pea" and addition to her bed.

On the other side is her cute lil' flower night light from Ikea

and her dresser/bookshelf that I papered and added new knobs to. (See that post here.)

{Another angle.}

Back around is her closet and dress-up area--

which is definitely my little one's favorite part. (See that post here.)

Overall, I'm very happy with the transformation.
And in case you forgot where we started, here's a little reminder:

And now:

A room fit for a princess. :)

  1. Visiting from Mom's Monday Mingle. I particularly like the backsplash on the bookcase. I hope you'll share it at this week's Friday Flash Blog on The Jenny Evolution (www.thejennyevolution.com). Would love to have you join our community.
