Totally Terrific Teacher Appreciation Gifts

I'm sure most of you are aware but this week is

Teacher Appreciation Week.

And seeing that I was once an elementary teacher and now have young kids in preschool, I know how important wonderful teachers are in our lives. It is so not an easy job and good teachers love our children almost as much as we do. It is such an important job.

So, in honor of that, I thought I'd compile some of my favorite teacher gifts (many of which I have replicated in years past). Gotta love Pinterest.

Here's a great gift that keeps on giving from Giggles Galore!
(I actually made this one year but instead of real flowers, I used floral tape to attach imitation flowers to pencils. I then filled the post with beans and stuck in the "flowers".

Love anything chalkboard. So why not a letter for the teacher's name? What makes it even better is to see all the little ones' handwriting. :) From Blossom Bunkhouse.

Why not stock a beverage dispenser full of summer necessities, such as sunscreen and lemonade like the Pinned Sisters?

Here's another gift in anticipation of the summer months to come. And what better way to tell your favorite teacher to relax than giving him/her a new beach towel, sunscreen and a popular magazine? From Heidi Swapp.

When is Starbucks not a hit? Cute way to give a little gift certificate for your teacher's favorite cup of joe. You could also put the gift card into a fun coffee mug or cup! From Eighteen25.

Another drink idea but this time it is filled with Lemonade and Tea packets. What's the best about this? It all came from the Dollar Store! From Stock Piling Moms.

(You can find many of these ideas and much more on my Pinterest boards. Feel free to follow me here.)

These are just a few of the many ideas and ways to celebrate our teachers. It really doesn't need to be fancy. Sometimes even just a heartfelt note can be the best gift. Anything that says "I appreciate you".
