As we all know Father's Day is fast approaching. And as I was coming up with some ideas for the Dad, Grandpa, and Pop Pop in our life, I thought I'd share some fun ideas that I found with you. (Don't worry, none of these are our gifts. I didn't want to let the cat out of the bag just incase one or all of them happened to read this blog post. :) I'll have to show you those after Father's Day is over.
Anyway, as I was searching, I realized that there are a lot of different "types" of Dads (and Grandpas, Pop Pops, Papas, Gramps, and so on). So I thought I'd come up with a variety of gifts for the variety of men you may be celebrating this weekend.
Here's a fun and thoughtful gift for the Dad/Grandpa who loves to hunt. It is a hunter's survival kit complete with everything a hunter might need.
Here's a fun gift for the fisherman. (This is totally adaptable to any age too.) Make your own "fish bowl" and then cut out colored "fish" coupons for him to choose from. See more here.
How about a gift for the Handyman? Have your child color them and write little messages on them. Go here for your own free printable.
Or the grill king. :) Who wouldn't love a basket full of grilling tools and sauces. Love this idea! (See how here.)
Can't forget those gardeners. This garden bucket caddy fits around a large bucket to hold gardening tools on the outside and soil or dirt (or fertilizer) on the inside.
And last but not least, the golfer. A bucket of balls with maybe a gift card to a favorite golf course? (See how to make it here.) I know my husband would totally appreciate this one. :)
So there you have it. Six do-it-yourself Father's Day ideas for Dads/Grandpas who enjoy a variety of different sports or hobbies. Hope you find something just right to celebrate the guy(s) in your life.
