Front Porch Checkers

I'm continuing to work on the front porch this week so I thought I'd share a quick little project to help make our porch more "homey".

Whenever we visit my parents in Indiana, it is a must that we stop by Cracker Barrell. And the last time we did I picked up a set of their giant checkers. I figured they'd be the perfect addition to our front porch.
I mean we already have the rocking chairs. :)

So, I picked up a galvanized drink bucket at Target.

And then cut out some lettering with my Silhouette.

And wa-la!

The checkers bucket was born.

I left the pieces in the bag because it lists a bunch of variations on the game.

Who's up for a game of checkers?
