Happy Friday! I've been on a kick lately to decorate for summer--which includes our front porch. Yesterday I showed you how we refurbished some old rocking chairs left out for trash.
Today I thought I'd share a little sign (of sorts) I made for the porch as well.
Remember these little chalkboards? Yes they came from my command center. I've recently decided they weren't working there, which gave me an idea!
An idea to add them to my front porch gate!
So I quickly put my little helpers to work cleaning off the boards and removing the vinyl lettering. (Don't you just love the little dandelion sitting next to her. Both girls bring me bouquets of them when they can find them. :)
I then hung some twine from the (already) drilled holes.
And hung them like so from some little nails.
It was then time to change my little fence picket sign.
To do this I simply turned it over and used my SIlhouette to cut out some letters.
Using some craft paint I already had, I used my lettering as stencils.
I just added a little picture hanging bracket and it was ready to hang up.
I then added some "porch rules" to my chalkboards and it was finished.
Now as soon as my front porch is summer ready, we'll be able to apply these rules! (More porch projects next week!)
In the meantime, some little friends are able to enjoy it! :)
