Monthly Organizing Checklists are Back {and Better}!!

Hi all. Hope the first week of the new year has been a good one! I don't know about you but I have found that the hype and work that goes along with holidays can sometimes leave us a little less than motivated once they are over with. Can anyone relate? I have dealt with this--a lot in the past. We put so much time and effort making sure the holidays are so so special (typically for others) that once they are over with, we are tired and just kind of over it all. This is precisely why I am such a believer in goal setting. And not just dreaming and writing it down but breaking up our goals to actually make them possible to achieve. I know I probably sound like a broken record (do they even say that anymore?) but I cannot stress enough the importance of breaking up our goals into smaller and manageable bits to keep us feeling successful and therefore motivated and moving forward.

A couple of days ago, I posted my yearly planning checklist. I also mentioned that wasn't the end of my planning and that I would take it a (few) steps further.

Enter step 2: Monthly Planning.

Yes, my Monthly Organizing Checklists are back. I started them last year at this time and found that they really helped me to stay focused and on top of things around the house as well as pushed me to get some other projects that have been lingering on my to do list, done. Same idea, but I added some things and made each one a little prettier.

I have included lots of organizing and maintenance kinds of things that are often done at specific times of the year. There is also one deep cleaning item on each list. The "other" section is for things that don't fall into those categories but are just little helpful reminders such as holidays to celebrate each month.
Last but not least, is one or two "Home Project Challenges" I have included on each checklist. Be ready to hear about these soon. :)

Want to know how to get your own copy of these checklists?? Simple: sign up (and activate) to receive my posts through email and I will personally send you the links to download all 12 months of checklists (you could print them all at one time immediately if you can keep track of where they are or save the email and come back to it each month to print. Totally up to you. I will show you soon where I keep all of my checklists so that I actually remember to use them.) Hopefully this is a win win because not only do you get these helpful monthly checklists but you also stay up on what we're doing around here. And trust me, you'll want to know. Lots of ideas my friends. :)

Okay, enough talking already. Let's make this year a productive one.
Starting. Right. Now.
